Ford closing plant for 10 days??

I don't mean to freak anyone out here but my wife just called me and said there was going to be some announcement made later tonight by a Ford Big Shot stating that they were going to close down 3 plants to deal with this Firestone recall business or something to that affect!! Can anyone verify this? and are they closing MX or KY in particular??

Bill: Breath easy. Straight from a brand-new AP wire release:
"Ford plants in Minnesota, New Jersey and Missouri will close from Aug. 28 to Sept. 8 so the 15-inch tires they would have used can be sent to dealers and installed on existing Ford and Mercury SUVs and pickups."
THESE ARE NOT SD PLANTS!!!!!!!
Should have no impact on our SD's.
I am surprised that the Explorer factory in Louisville (yes it is separate) is not closing.

This may have been posted before so I apologize in advance it this is redundant info. I called my Firestone dealer after I heard about the plant closings and he indicated that the Steeltex AT model tires are not subject to the recall. Whew...
