Hello to all, can someone help me obtain a pin# for the x-plan. I can get a great deal on a 6.0L F250 Lariat 4X4 with all the whistles, don't care for the bells. This deal is good, and the wife says yes if I can get the pin (snip-ouch). Any help for the frustrated middle-aged boy that wants a PSD. Thanks

Any employee of Ford Motor Company should be glad to help you get a PIN.

I was very glad to help several people here, but right now I'm out of PINs. I have a couple in the hopper that I'm trying to fill, but I don't have a way to get any more right now.
Sorry!

I appreciate the effort, thanks SmokeyWren & Mark... I will keep searching for a way. Hmmm, maybe if I folded my own clothes and then charged her(the wife) for it I could save up enough to cover the cost difference. Just an idea........Anyways, thanks and enjoy life. Will the dealer go for an ordered truck at invoice? If so, you can get the AQHA rebate of $500 as by the time your truck shows up, the 30 days grace period required by the AQHA and Ford to become a member and aquire the rebate will be up.
If your dealer says no go, try for a drop shipped truck through Bobby Williams (he's a sponsor here) and is very obliging. I can't tell you what his bottom dollar is on the truck, but it might be worth checking.
If you go with dealer invoice +200 less AQHA, the dollars should be close. Don't forget the business upfit deal, depending on your business.

About to order 04 PSD CC DRW
I have a question related to the AQHA rebate. Will Ford allow the AQHA $500 rebate in conjunction with an X-plan purchase? I have a truck on order. I have a build date of 2-10, which means it should be at my dealer around 2-28. This is an X-plan purchase. I was hoping to join the AQHA for the $500 rebate.
I was unaware until now, that there is a 30 day grace period. If I sign up TODAY, I may still meet the 30 day requirement, but I am still wondering if Ford will even honor the AQHA rebate on an X-plan purchase.
Any thoughts

I checked the AQHA web site under the partners link, scroll down to Ford, it stated the $500.00 rebate cannot be used with the x-plan. It can be combined with any rebates open to the general public. Let's keep trying....
lawdog......how did you get your pin#?

Ooops, my bad. I only said that since my dealer asked for the pin# and SSN# to run a verify check before placing the order. The SSN was not used for a credit check (cash sale)
Well, the easy way of using Mark is out, so you have to revert to the tried-and-true way to get an X-Plan PIN.
The "standard" way is to work for a company that is a "Ford Partner". Then go to your personnel office and get a PIN.
"My way" is to find the nearest plant or office of Ford Motor Company. Such as an assembly plant near most big cities. Go to the nearest bar just outside the gates of the plant or office at shift-change time. When the guys come off shift, buy a few brews and inquire about someone giving you one of their X-Plan PINS. It shouldn't take too many rounds of your buying the brew to get your PIN.

I got my X-plan PIN by being a Ford partner. My company has a global access number that
I typed in at the X-plan website to get a PIN generated. The Ford Partner Program then emailed
my PIN and Welcome to the X-plan kit to me. When I ordered my truck I had to supply
my PIN upfront and provide verification (employee badge w/picture) to prove I was who I said
I was and that I was an employee. This was just as listed on the X-plan docs I received.
