Incentives Change?

Anyone else notice that sometime today Ford took down the $3,000 rebate and special APRs for Super Duty crew cabs? The rebates are still up for regular cabs, super cabs and chassis configurations, but the Harley and plain ol' crew cabs are gone. Maybe that's why my saleguy won't call me back...

How often does the rebate change...I wonder if I missed the boat?

Re: Incentives Change?

I also just checked now at 1:40am Central Time (August 8) and the $3000 cash rebate has disappeared for the 2008 SD Crew Cab. A few days ago, the incentive for that model was stated as being valid until 9/3/07. Does anybody know what is going on here????

Bobby W - Help!!! I have a truck on order due to arrive at the end of this month and was counting on that $3000! Is the Ford website just messed up?

Thanks
Gary

Re: Incentives Change?

George C, any thoughts as to why / when 08 super duty incentives will get better - I saw the July numbers, but I'm not convinced Ford is going to start giving their high-end light trucks away just yet...

Does anyone closely involved with Ford have any thoughts on why the rebate went up on Friday night and then came down a few days later? Are they changing them for the better or are they gone...or is the webmaster at fordvehicles.com just on vacation this week and it's a website issue?

Bobby or any other dealer / employee with "credible intel" care to comment?

Re: Incentives Change?

There used to be two offers below the 2008 F-Super Duty Chassis Crew Cab, one was $0 for the Harley Davidson and the other was for a plain super duty crew cab (as opposed to the chassis cab.)

Or at least that's how I remember it

Re: Incentives Change?

I called 1-800 Ford number today to ask if the $3000 cashback incentive still applies to 08 Crew Cabs (not chassis crew cab). The lady said yes. But she also suggested I speak to my local dealer since things can vary based on region. So I spoke to my sales manager a few hours ago. He checked in the computer (Vincent or something like that???) and also confirmed that $3000 cashback is still valid for 08 SD Crew Cab until 9/3/07. Strange that the Ford website deleted that incentive. But anyway, that's great news for soon-to-be 08 Crew Cab buyers! Just check with your local dealer to make sure.

PS - I asked her to notify the Ford website dept so hopefully that gets fixed soon.

Gary

Re: Incentives Change?

I checked on my '08 F-350 Crew order today as well, same story. $3000 good on the Crew Cabs not just the chassis plus she said the APR's are: 1.9% - 36mo, 2.9% - 48mo, 3.9% - 60mo, 5.9% - 72mo

She also said the truck was being built today with delivery to the Califorina dealer on 8/27.

the offers will get better because the trucks are not selling. the newness of the 08 has worn off. people are realizing that the the 08 is just not a night and day difference. it is an improvement. people are also hearing the mileage reports from people and the word is also out about the repairs for this truck. so sales will not be that high and more rebates will come to keep the steel moving. i am so glad i did not buy the one 450 that i was interested in (the gang here gave me a bunch of crap over it) because now i can buy the same truck (its still there too) and save 2k more because of rebates. by the end of this year sales will be even slower as the holidays approach and the red tag sales and whatever names they call them will be going on. for me i am going to wait just a little longer i think.

Re: Incentives Change?

you can order without the PIN. You don't need it until you close the deal
