Just ordered an 08 PSD but need an A-Plan Number HELP! - Diesel Forum

I've just placed an order for an 08 PSD, and was wondering [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif[/img] if one of the Ford bretheren could get me an A-Plan number. Understand they are available for family and friends. I sure would be grateful!

You can get an X plan number from blueovalnews.com. It's not as good as the A plan, but it will get you just below invoice on the new release '08 and that is a great deal!! I think only employees and family can get A plan. good luck. do you have prices yet?

If you've already ordered, then you can not use any plan pricing. Technically, a Ford employee can not even give an X-plan PIN to anyone who has even started negotiating with a dealer.

I believe:

A-plan is employees and family only.
X-plan is Friends and corp partner employees, foundations/clubs, etc.

No prices yet, I just have the ordering guide. Dealer is one I have used for years, and he remembered the last truck I ordered using the A-Plan. Don't think the ex would be too willing to give me one [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bleh.gif[/img]if I asked.

Right now, the 20" tires are on hold due to a strike at Goodyear ?

I'm stuck in Afghanistan till April, so I didn't see where that was much of a problem :-)

This is the first truck I'm buying via e-mail and it's not the quickest process.

we will see about this - i placed my order this past week. wonder if this still applies to getting the a or d plans.

You can place an order and still use an x-plan pin as long as you told the dealer you would be using one to purchase the vehicle when you did so. By that I mean you can order it at the x-plan price but you don't actually have to produce the pin until it comes in and you settle up the finances.

I think I might be able to get the x plan from my dad next year when i purchase, however, he going to be doing some uing next year, so im not sure if he will enough. aarrrrgggg... i will get it one way or another. It looks like there might be some people online who have acess to the A plan? Im assuming thats better than the x plan, form the sound of it. Can i still use the incentives like the x plan? also, who could i talked to to get possibly set something up to use somebody's a plan? Would there be anybody willing? It will next year in April. I would really appreciate it...

Im goiong to do some more studying on these plans...
