KTP sure builds a beautiful rig. This thing is not just a truck -- it's a luxury car that happens to be jacked up, makes a cool engine rumble, and has a really useful bed on the back. It's just a joy to drive. The metallic paint is deep and beautiful.
One surprise is how level it is right out of the gate. I wrongly assumed I would need a leveling kit. Is it only the 350's that look too jacked up in the back without the leveling kit?
All of the fluff I added: powerscope, audiophile system, reverse sensor/camera, 20" rims, rear step, HomeLink were worth every dime. I will especially enjoy that rear backup camera. Finally I can back out of my ridiculously narrow, twisty driveway and stay on the concrete.
So, in the end, the wait was definitely worth it. My dealer, Brett Williams at Jim Click Ford in Tucson was a top notch guy. He got me a VIN and scheduled build date within a week (9/8); despite the 2 week shutdown, it was produced right on time and arrived about a week early.
Thank you, KTP!

Re: KTP's Thanksgiving treat arrived -- and it's no turkey!
I can't look at the pics from this comp since it's a govt computer, but will when I get home, that green looks great in person though. I think you're correct in that most F250s I see sit more level, however my F350 with the snow plow springs sits essentially level and looks great.

heh a 350 with snowplow prep and or camper package beefs up the front springs and levels out the truck

Ya know, I would never have guessed I was a green guy, but I saw this combination on an F350 on the lot at another dealership (20" and all) and just had to have it. That one lacked a few options I really wanted (such as the camera), and had the hole in the roof that I didn't, so weighed that against the grueling wait and went with the build. Glad I did, too. It's nice to not have to moan about missing an option or two had I settled. Now all I can blame is myself (ie looking back I wish I'd considered the chrome package). Still, it's everything I'd expected, and then some!

I hear him to George. My 6-year old daughter told me yesterday she liked the 'old' truck better. "Daddy, why won't this truck go fast like the old truck?" What's a father to do?

Thanks for showing me pictures of my truck!
My F350 is 'bucked' right now; it's supposed to be delivered the week of the 10th - and I have the same color scheme you ordered. Yors looks terrific.

Very nice truck!!
Mine gets here tomorrow or Tuesday. My dealer called Wednesday and said it was sitting in San Antonio - just an hour away!! I guess the trucking company has to wait for a full load to bring it north? WOW!! That made the wait even worse!!
