Lariet Vs Lariet

Hey guys.....tell me this...I ordered a lariet with all the trimmings...Now I hear of the LE model... What is the difference? My Dealer didn't tell me of any such model and the flyer on the Super Duty trucks didn't say anything about it either.I ordered the truck in oxford white. The order is for a f-250 crewcab psd with the lariet package...it was ordered on 1/23...It was still unscheduled as of this passed Friday.. What is the possibility of me being able to change the order? Will I be missing out on anything?

Re: Lariet Vs Lariet

Lariat LE (SuperDutius Maximus):

A Rare sight, but has been seen around the North American continent. The thing that seperates this species from its other less 'equipped' breathern (SuperDutius Leatherandwholelottaothergoodieslikeatripcomputert hatdontworkicus) is the stainless steel running boards, factory lighted visor, quad captain's chairs, special center consoles, and exterior markings which are available only in black with a tan accent job (not two tone...).

Yes, this breed is always a large one. One cannot find it in any other than a Crew Cab Long Bed Dually.

Sightings of this beast should be reported to the local game warden or Diesel Mechanic.

The Lariat LE pkg comes only on an F-350 CrewCab with dual rear wheels [DRW]. Since you were discussing F-250 with your salesman, I can understand why he didn't mention the LE. Moving up from an F-250 to an F-350 DRW is a big jump in hauling capacity - as well as several thousand dollars in price.

As to changing the order, I don't think you can literally "change" your options from F-250 Lariat to F-350 Lariat LE. You'll have to cancel your order for the F-250 and reorder the F-350 Lariat LE. But I'm not a dealer so I'm not sure about that.

Remind me to back over the assistant afterwards...repeatedly

Tan, Gold, very similar to a partially colorblind person as myself.

Re: Lariet Vs Lariet

I gotta say that the Lariat LE Black/Gold is the most beautiful truck I have ever seen. I friend of mine has that exact truck except in 4x4. There is captain seats in the rear with a center console also. There is 3 trucks like this in Calgary.

Lariat LE....AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, drip, drip

Re: Lariet Vs Lariet

I love my L.E.! Some folks have posted that they don't like the color scheme. I have has folks ask if this is a Centurion truck. Nope, just a box stock Lariat L.E.
Got pics in photo page #23 I think. There is also a pic of my truck in the ford-diesel screen saver program.
It is Black/Gold, 4 Captain's Chairs, Stainless running boards, Lighted Sun Visor (has clearance lites in the visor).
For me it "Works fine, lasts a long time, Doesn't rust, bust or collect dust and never energizes in a pi**ed off position!"

Re: Lariet Vs Lariet

I saw the LE, which only comes in F-350 DRW, at the dealer showroom. I'm not sure about FWD though. Anyway, the sticker on it was $38,000 with the V-!0, very little negotiation possible. Beautifull truck, but not what I wanted. The urge had worn off and reality had set in by the time I got home.
