I've tried the local Bozos…what a laugh "the 2001's won't be here until October" OH? Then what's that one over in the corner doing here?….DUH!! Or…"275 HP 6 speed?…no, the automatics always have more power" Well, you get the picture. The one guy who did bother to sit down at the computer and price one out wanted $1500 over invoice.
I'm in Woodbridge (just south of Sacramento) anyone have a good recommendation for a dealer in the general area? I like to do business locally but will drive a bit to find a good dealership…..the name and phone of who you dealt with would be appreciated.
Give Gridley Country Ford a call. They are located about 70 miles north of Sacramento on hwy.99. Call 1-800-660-4724 or 530-846-4724 and ask for Paul Romanshek. I think you will have a very pleasant experience. I have had the pleasure of purchasing three trucks in four years from them.

I would stay away from Future ford. I wouldnt go there if they had PSDs for a buck.
big valley ford in stockton is ok.
geweke has a 2001 crewcab but wants the farm for it.
suburban ford has a school of sharks swaerming around the lot, so take your shark repellant. (fair deals, especially fleet)
hoblit in colusa, everyone I have asked swears by them, I have yet to check them out.
heritage ford in modesto gives free lifetime oil changes (but its in modesto)
sacramento valley ford truck/sterling, can order anything with awesome allocation.
I would try the on-line price quotes to get an idea, but buy from a good dealer.
I personally am going to order from one of the dealers used here on this site, and either have it drop shipped,
or I am going to order to co-incide with the kentucky truck rally, so I can go early or stay late and see my truck being built, and hopefully pick it up at the closest dealer (yeah I'm dreaming, but dont stop me.)
Hi John, If you find a better deal then from Dave Mckean (Fleet Dept.) at Heritage Ford in Modesto let me know because he will match it for me. Also if you decide to buy from him use my name because I will get $200.00 in free service and kick back $100.00 to you when I use it. Sounds almost to good to be true.
Thanks, BIG E 7

NP…I used to drive to Chico on business and passed Gridley Ford many times....seems like they always have a lot full of trucks…I'll call them
Whd507….Big Valley is the place that wanted $1500 over invoice, Geweke Lodi is the one who said no 2001's until October..(until I pointed out that same 2001 CC sitting on their lot..haha)
BIG E 7….I'll give Heritage a call and see what they say…do they have a good allocation? Maybe take you up on that deal…..thanks.
if you are going to buy anyway and out shopping, see what sac valley ford/sterling is selling over invoice is selling for this year. a couple of years ago they were ordering for $500 over. and they have unreal allocation (nothing but trucks)they were promising 90-120 day orders last year also. I will be cruising down that way after I see a couple more 2001s
albany ford.....mac hamlin is the fleet manager.....510.528.1244.....510.524.1655 fax.....he is doing my deal @ $200 over invoice.....just for reference purposes.....F350 Lariat CC SWB SRW 4x4 PSD Auto; 3.73 Limited Slip; Off-Road; TT Power mirrors; reverse vehicle aid came out to $35,416 invoice.....mac is @ $39,300 out the door (including tax / lic / doc fees etc)....

I would recommend Hoblit Ford in Colusa. I have heard of them for years here in the Marysville / Yuba City area and bought my 99 used from them with a v10 for 23,600. Johnny FOrd is the main sales guy there but I dealt with a guy named Rick Lang. I know of others on this site who have purchased from them recently. I wouldn't even slow down for Geweke Ford in Yuba City. It has more sharks than a law office. Real high pressure to get you in a truck. Good Luck
We purchased our 99 F250 PSD at Folsom Lake Ford in July of 99.A business friend of mine recommended me to this dealership after the fine purchase of his 99 F550 dually PSD there. The salesman that we deal with there is Bob Kuzia 800-655-0555. Folsom Lake Ford is located just east of Sacramento on highway 50 before the foothills going to South Lake Tahoe. We plan to get our next F250 from there with no hessitation at all, they have boo koo Super Duties to choose from. I been to Gridley Ford, they're good people too.
Hope I helped some
