Looking for a F-550CAB / CHASSIS - Diesel Forum

My Dad's Chevy ate another engine and he's ready for a new truck but is impatient and doesn't want to wait to order one. Anybody know where there's a F-550 Crewcab XLT, 4x4, Powerstroke, 6-sp, limited slip, cab and chassis with the midship fuel tank on the lot. I know it's a longshot but I figured give it a try, you never know! Thanks, ibuytoys.

check out www.carlocate.com and see what pops up. I checked a few of the states that I tried before ordering our 350. There was a dealer in Missouri that claims to have a 550 4x4 6spd/PSD, but it didn't give much other information about options or trim. They only show a posted price of just over $30K, so it must be fairly stripped, but it would probably be worth a call...

added on edit: DOH...nevermind about that one, I just looked at it again and it shows to be a regular cab. SOrry..

Thanks for the info guys! We ordered a 2001 F-550 Crewcab XLT, 4x4, PSD, 6-sp, L/S diff., with alot of other goodies in silver. I wanted him to get the true blue but he wasn't sure of how the color would look on the truck and it's really hard to tell from the paint chip chart. We're getting it for $500 over cost and were given a 12 week estimated arrival date in a worst case scenario. We're planning to repaint parts of the truck with a dark blue and gray graphic to match our other trucks. I can't wait till it gets here. Thanks, ibuytoys!
