I placed an order on 7-17 for a F350 KR. I contaced my leasing company on Monday to see what the status was. He told me the status was "clean" and the truck would probably come in sometime late October. Does this seem right. I know they have an allotment etc. so that's not the issue.

My truck was just delayed for the second time.
Now, the delivery week is 9-10-07.

I ordered on 7-17 as well for a F350 FX4. As of yesterday the dealer said my order was bucked and should take delivery somewhere around the 20th of September.

Don't think mine has been built. He said the order status was "clean". I looked on the suggested site blue oval to see what others order status' are and I didn't see clean on any of them. Not even sure what clean means.

It means somebody is saving typing by typing "clean" instead of "unscheduled clean".

Unscheduled clean means the order has been accepted and put in the unfilled orders hopper for a later "pull". Ford "pulls" orders out of the hopper once a week (on Thursday). If there are more orders in the hopper than can be produced in one week, then some orders are not pulled but stay in the unscheduled clean status for another week.

If the order is unscheduled but not clean, then it doesn't go in the hopper. Instead it is rejected back to the dealer to fix whatever is wrong with the order.

My 08 F350 LB 4x4 CC Lariat was ordered 23 Jun 07, Order No 1050, Priority 85. Dealer said it would be delivered 13 Aug. Dealer now says KTP has told them truck is being held for lack of a chip for Sirius radio. Beginning to sound like a load of pasture paddies to me.

I have the VIN and was told today the chip has been received. Now I'll see if BlkueUval can tell when it will arrive.

Good luck on that. You will be lucky to get a gate release or ship date.

I was just told the production is scheduled for J4 meaning 4th week of October. Seems like there's something weird here but I guess I have no choice but to wait.
