I just got back from the dealership and put in my order for an 05 4x4 PSD s/c F-350. First let me ask is there anything else I should add while I still have the time to from the options I have?
Trucks a 6.0 with torqueshift 4x4 with manual hubs.
XLT package
aluminum 18" wheels with 275/70rx18e BSW A/T rubber
sliding rear window with privacy glass.
12.5k receiver hitch (was told 15k was only for drw which kinda bothered me)
camper package
tele TT power mirrors
cab lights
fog lamps
stabilizer package
tow command package
adjustable pedals
advanced security group
3.73 limited slip
snow plow package
What do I need to add to complete the truck? Price came out to $42940 total and I ended up with x-plan price of $37773. I really dont think I will be seeing any rebates on an 05 with all of the 04's that are left on lots either. Would it be wise for me to get a membership with american quarter horse association for the $500 rebate being I wont take delivery until September at the EARLIEST. Any thoughts appreciated. TIA
Brett

You might want to give the Reverse Sensing System some thought. We ordered it on the 03 because my wife wanted it, but I have to admit I really like it. We have also ordered it on our 05 replacement.

The tele TT power mirrors comes with the tow command pkg.
You can only use either X-plan or AQHA not both
Enjoy your new truck and the wait
Consider also making your rear slider window electric: it sure makes it easy to open and close. You can open it while driving-no reaching behind you which can become unsafe while in motion. That and the reverse aid sensors are worth their cost. I have both on my truck and I love them, especially the reverse aid sensors which have prevented possible unseen collision damage. Even saved some idiot's tail when he rode a bicycle behind my truck while I was backing up. Good luck with your new truck--they're great!!! Mike.

Thanks for the heads up on the AQHA. I would have gotten that one for nothing thinking it was just like any other rebate from ford. I kinda goofed on listing the mirrors, it was under the tow command package but listed what was in the tow command package. I will definately consider the electronic rear window as well as the reverse sensor, just kinda depends on how much extra they add. Thanks for the heads up.

If you don't order anything else the reverse vehicle aid sensor
is a must. This ('05) will be our 3rd dually with it. Before
it I paid for a nose and hood for a Cavalier, nearly backed over
my Harley, and many other very close calls. Wife with CDL says that
and the adjustable pedals are the best options we have.
I see that you got the advanced security package (keyless entry) just so others will know, the Advanced Security Package (which includes keyless entry) is an option on the XLT trucks (standard on Lariat), if you dont order the ASP, you will not get the keyless entry/key fobs ect. I learned that one the hard way, but now I have a remote start/ keyless entry/alarm system :-)
