Dealer (who's one of hte most knowledgeable and professional that I've dealt with) says 8-10 weeks out. Internet says 14-16 or 16-18. So, wildly optimistic, Oct 27th. Realistically, Dec 8th - Jan 5th. Yikes.

OK, so more than likely, your truck will change to unscheduled clean next Monday, 9/10 or Tuesday. From then to build should be 4-5 weeks, then however long it takes to get the truck to you. For instance mine went as follows.

Mine and yours have very similar configs, with the exception of the Stowable Bed Extender. So, I would bet that unless you run into a weird commodity hold, or an unexpected shutdown, you will have the truck in early October. Also, shipping shouldn't be that bad, you didn't order a dually.

Tough to tell. Right now, KTP may be shutting down for at least two, and maybe up to four weeks between now and the end of the year.
Not good news if you are waiting on a fresh order.

I don't like that! I've waited before but I don't know if I can this time....I need to haul my little excavator up to my lake property in North Carolina to build a house soon!

We all feel the pain, i ordered on 7/3/07 and the plant accepted the order on 07/07/07. The beast was built on 08/23/07 and is still sitting at KTP waiting for a ride on a train to NY. This is the worst part of the waiting.......

And from what I can tell, there's no way to shortcut the ride. I'd love to just go to KTP and pick mine up. Even better would be to watch them build it, even though I understand why that'd be a nightmare for Ford.

Once it is built is definatly the worst part. You can just see the guy at the shipping yard, "should we ship it out today?" "Nah, let him wait another week, (insert evil genius laugh)." I am two and a half, maybe three hours from Louisville. I used to have to drive there for business. I would be up there three hours from now if they would let me out of the gate with it.

I ordered F350 Lariat CC SRW LWB 4X4 loaded on 6/04, built 8/15, shipped 8/26. I was told to expect 2 eek transit time. I called Ford CSC and was told expected delivery 9/09 - 9/16.

As far as KTP, I understand that they may shut down first two weeks and last week in October. Good luck on getting your order early. I'm looking at a 14 week order to pickup time.

I know it is going to be well worth the wait. I just hope incentives stay the same or get better Tuesday.

Got this from my dealer today:

That would make six weeks from order to delivery, if it comes true.
