When I ordered my new F-250 last month I was told I should receive $1000.00 owner loyalty. I was just talking to the dealer to check on the new cash back amount, and he says I can't get the owner loyalty money because I'm trading up from an 04 F-150, and it would have to be an F-250 to qualify. Is this correct?
I have purchased two new Ford vehicles every three years since 1986, sixteen to date, including a new 07 Explorer picked up in June. If that's not loyalty, I don't know what is.

I went to Edmunds and found this:
Owner Loyalty Cash is available towards the purchase or lease of a new 2008 model F-Super Duty for customers who currently own or lease a 1998 or newer F-Super Duty. Vehicles equipped with Harley Davidson Package are ineligible.

I had another question on this topic: I have a SuperDuty, but what if I sell it outright, rather than trading it in? Is a trade-in to the selling dealer a requirement of the Owner Loyalty rebate?

Thanks guys. I guess I'm out of luck. I'm still getting what I think will be a great truck at a good price.

When I told my dealer that I was selling my F-350, he said to keep a copy of both the registration and title to prove that I qualify for the loyalty rebate. I did that and have it ready for when my new truck finally arrives.

Sounds like a cheesy way for Ford to back out of paying the loyalty discount to me. Product loyalty is product loyalty, shouldn't matter what model, color, moon phase, or whatever. You think Ford would figure out that we have other options when it comes to buying HD trucks. When I ordered my '04 F250 SD, we had previously leased an F150, and had a Contour SVT, Contour SE, and a pervious Ford Bnonco purchased from the same dealer... I got $750 in the form of Loyalty Discount, and it was listed in the "VINCENT" that way when the Fleet Sales Rep printed out the incentives... Sounds to me like they are getting pretty narrow minded when they apply some of these incentives.
To answer your question, I don't see how there's a difference in how you dispose of your previous vehicle ( sell or trade ) that should effect the Loyalty Discount other than they can make more $$ if you trade it in because they'll give you less for it than they'll sell it for.
For Super Duty Owner Loyalty, all you need is the current registration. As for what you do with the vehicle, it does not matter. You can sell it, trade it or keep it.
I am a bit suprised to see the post above about H-D's being ineligible. When I traded my '00 for my '04 H-D I qualified for the Owner Loyalty Rebate.

Do ya know if we have had to buy it new? If we bought a used one would that void the owner loyality?
