Does anyone want to plug a dealership who accepts the X plan in SE PA. They must also have an inventory or ability to get a 2001 PSD. Or 2002....if I wanna wait.....

I went through Kennedy Ford (formerly Tauder) in Phoenixville a few months ago for my 2001. Used the X-Plan for a PSD I ordered, no hitches. They had several on the lot back then, and a few more they could pull from their other 5 or 6 lots - but nothing in the exact color / style I was looking for, so I had them order for me.
I don't have the guy's business card here, but I think his name was John Shearer. Foudn the guys in Phoenixville to be much better than those at the Sanatoga lot.
Good luck!

WOW, That's a change ...when I went to Tauder to get my CC, they did not even have the ability to get a billet..still took my order though....that took guts. Faulkner in Q-town won my sale.
Limerick - Worst service dept I have ever seen. Salesman did not even wanna talk to me in 1998.

I actually went around to the local dealerships first, without telling them I was an X-Plan participant (I didn't have the details from work at that point). The Sanatoga dealership tried every scam in the book ("how much do you want to pay a month"?, "Want to take the truck home for the night?", "The owner wants to talk to you because he cares about your business" and so forth). Kennedy Ford in Phoenixville did a good job of not pressuring me. I had signed on the dotted line before I was aware of our X-Plan, then went back to them and they recalc'd for the X-Plan a few days later. I really liked working with them, although I had gone through some bad experiences with them in the 80's - they had tried to pass off a Ford Granada as a family car to my folks, then as a sports car to me a few weeks later. The may have cleaned house a bit (I don't know), but a couple of the salesmen are still around.
Not sure how the service department is down in Phoenixville, but as for Sanatoga, I agree with you - I wouldn't go there after the hard sell they gave me in the lot.
Good luck in getting the new truck!

I am looking for a truck now also. I am in Delaware, but some of my co-workers from the Langhorne area highly recommended a trip to Faulkner in Quakertown. Some of our fleet trucks go there when our own mechanics are tied up, and they said Faulkners service is top quality. Alot of our employees used our mechanics rec. and left Faulkner very happy. However I'll be purchasing in DE, because it is just easier for me with tags, tax, etc. In Langhorne there is also McCaffertys Ford, although I don't know how there selection or availability is at the moment.
