Still no truck - Diesel Forum

I ordered a 2000 F-250 CC psd 4x4 on 9/6/99. I spoke to the dealer today still no vin or build date.I knew I had to wait.Is this a bit extreme? Is this dealer blowing smoke or what? Any help is appreciated.
