SUB TO PLAN ????????????????

I'd like to introduce myself as the new kid on the block(been lurking for a few weeks).
This is by far the best and most valuable of
groups, full of info, wit and charm.

My full appreciation goes to all of you.

My order for a 350 PSD was placed on 8/20.

Went back to my friendly Ford Dealership today
for a status report on the
above order.

They gave me a "Single Vehicle Detail Information print out". It had a portion
of a VIN with a build date of 09/17. It
also said: SUB TO PLAN The salesman had
no idea what that meant and it left me confused. Can someone please explain? How
much longer do you think I will have to wait?

Also had a wonderful time at the NE Rally
The organizers deserve huggs and kisses.

Hope I don't have to wait much longer for delivery. I'm so excited, my breath comes
in short pants.

Respectfully.

Marshall

Welcome.

Sub(mitted) to Plan(t). It just means your order has gone to the production facility. Congrats.

First of all Marshall WELCOME

It almost sounds like your order did not get in when you thought it did with a build week of 9/17. Mine was put in around the 24th and I got a build week of 9/10 with an ETA of 10/1. You could be one or two weeks after that. Lets just say that you should be able to get the biggest pumpkin you can find by Halloween! Enjoy the wait!

Re: SUB TO PLAN ????????????????

Thank you, Marty & Bill

I must admit to my embarrassment as I have
been over using the VOPC system(I won't
say how much). Well... these things just
can't be controlled . This is more exciting than buying your first house.

Regards.

Re: SUB TO PLAN ????????????????

Good luck Marshall. The wait can be agonizing, but I think people are getting them pretty quickly now (6-7 weeks). I called VOPC today and it stated that my truck had a status of "Produced"! I still have an ETA of 9/24, but I hope it will be shipping soon!
