My truck arrived at the dealer this afternoon, after being made earlier this week. I only live about 250 miles from the KY plant so deliveries are via transport. The only problem is the F**D deleted option 4H which I wanted desperately. 4H give me the Parchment Captain Seats with Console. I recieved the 60/40 Seat!!!!!!! The order confirmation shows 4H. Captain Seats are not listed on the window sticker. The dealer was not contacted by F**D that a change was being made. What Gives???
My dealer plans to get with F**D first thing Tuesday after the holiday. The dealer promises to make things right and always has in the past.
Why would they change an option on a customer order without contacting us first???
It is my understanding that the only differences between the 60/40 and the Captain Seats is one has a center seat and the other a console. I believe the Driver and Passenger seats are the same, except for an arm rest, which I didn't want anyway. If they can get me the factory console and install it, I'll be satisfied. Other than that, I am quite pleased. Body lines match, engine runs quiet, nice looking truck.
This is kind of a stupid question, but when you get the captions chairs in a Lariat, you don't get them in the rear as well, right? I am just wondering because building a truck online at Ford.com is a little confusing and my local dealer doesn't have any lariats on his lot for me to look at. Sorry for the stupid question.
