Truck Vehicle Status Report - Diesel Forum

I just read about Truck Vehicle Status Report (TVSR) in the FAQ. Does anyone know what one looks like. Has anyone been able to get one from their dealer? It seems like a good way to compare dealers as to how far back in the line you will be.

I don't know where TVSR came from but the dealers get a complete report weekly as of Thursday at 5PM Central and updates daily through the week. IF the dealer would allow you to see this you would be more confused than most dealers are. Unless you read these things daily as I do they are confusing as Hell and have no rhyme or reason

I can't find the page I saw that talked about the report. It's supposed to be a weekly report that shows all the truck orders the dealer has submitted and their status.

The salesman "says" there are 5 other trucks in front of mine but he couldn't tell me how long they've been on order. I'm just searching for some evidence that he is being truthful and that I won't wind up waiting into the next model year.

Got one from my dealer saturday, shows info on all F-150, F-250/F-350 & Explorer's that are on order. It list them in order by order number. Also gives VIN, date plant received order, type of order (stock or retail) and a bunch more good info!
