VIN number: What information can I get from it - Diesel Forum

Hi
I see that one number say the year 05, but what else information can I get from it. Where those numbers are coming from.

The only question I have now is what mean Production Sequence Number. I have d04008.
Does it means April 8,05.

I don't think so, I think that's ust a sequence number, as in your truck was built after 04007 and before 04009... Not positive on that though. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/phoney.gif[/img]
