Whats up with ford and the Kentucky truck plant. I have a 2008 F250 that I order back at the end of June and it has been built and released but my dealer has no truck for me yet, *** is up. If they want to keep people happy they better start shipping these trucks out I am just about fed up going on 8 weeks that's wrong, something's up?
I have an '08 on order too and it is yet to be built. Looks like mine is going to take about 8 weeks from order to deliver but that is never a guarantee.
BTW I waited about 13 weeks for my '03 when I ordered it so an 8 week wait won't be too bad.

It is to me, 5 to 6 weeks is what ford says and the dealer too. I think when you order one if they can't have it in 5 or 6 weeks they should tell you that and I would have looked some place else. I have never waited longer then 5 weeks for any new vehicle I have bought this is ridiculous and people need to let ford know that and that is exactly what I intend to do.

Bro, Easy!!! I've personally never heard a guarantee from my dealers that an ordered vehicle would turn around that quick, if they did, take it up with your dealer not Ford. Some people have to wait up to 3-4 months and that's what I've been told when ordering, but's that's with all orders from all Manufactors. The fact of the matter is that the 2008 Super Duty is in high demand, very, it seems, just from all the 2008's running around locally here, and we're just a speck of Texas, the truck state....
So I guess the saying goes, "A Dealer will say anything to sell you a Car!"

My ******* works at the KTP and they were shut down for a week, something about an issue with the wiring harness,that is a part that they get from a outside manufacter, not really sure as to what the problem is/was.I cant say for sure that they shut it down JUST for that issue, but....

I hear you there. I waited 9 months for a '97 F-150.
My current '04 SD took almost a full 3 months, 83 days from order to delivery.
