It's a special pricing for suppliers of Ford. About 4%above the price Ford emplyees pay. On the Superduties it is about $400 below dealer invoice.
The trick is getting a X-plan number.
Once you get it you can buy two vehicles during the next 12 months at the special price. No dicker.

Just to clarify...on the Friends & Neighbors X-Plan you can only buy 1 vehicle.
We ordered an 03 F350 PSD 6.0 last month using the X-plan. Then our old car bit the dust and we bought an 03 Taurus to replace it thinking we could use the same X plan pin number. But no go, we had to use the pin number we had planned to use on the F350. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif[/img]
We're searching for another pin number. Is there anyone out there who can help us? We would kindly repay you in some way. Won't need it until some time in January .

Another quick way to determine the X-Plan price is to multiple the MSRP by .88 (X-Plan will save you about 12% off of MSRP ).
By the way, you should try to get your order in before 12/26 as that is when the new price level goes into effect. New price level = more expensive.

Received (From Cochise)-2003.25 (Born on 4 Dec) White King Ranch F250 CC 6.0; 2wd; limited slip 3.73; Auto; White; Moon Roof; Tire upgrade; Running lights; Rear bench seats; adjustable pedals; Reverse sensing. Ford Replaced this truck (born 6 May 03). Nov 03 this truck developed two oil leaks. Sold truck and no longer own a Ford truck.

What is the Friends and Neigbors x-plan? I thought only supplier employees and their spouses were eligible? Is there a way to get the x-plan for a friend or other relative?

Since you chimed in here, maybe you know the real answer: in another thread, someone claimed that their F&N X-plan PIN was only good for one purchase, where historically a PIN was good for up to 2 purchases in a year. Do you know if that one-vehicle restriction really does exist under the new expanded program?
(We have a son coming of driving age within the next year - adding a 3rd car to the family will probably be done by going used, but if I had another X-plan deal in my pocket, I might just consider stretching to buy another new vehicle. Not that *he* would get to drive the new vehicle, mind you!)
