I have a few X-plan pins left if anyone is in need.

I need one. My 97 just laid down(injectors?) And with 200k its time for a new work truck. Calling dealers now so if you have one I would be grateful.

If I live in Canada, but am buying a new truck in the US (for export back to Canada), am I allowed to use an American X-Plan PIN on my purchase? The dealership I am talking to claims that I need to register the truck in the U.S. for 6 months in order for it to be valid.

Any comments or added knowledge would be much appreciated.

Any particular reason for not just buying in Canada?
Not sure how it works coming from Canada, but a US employee can sponsor what is called an "exception" PIN for Canadian residents to be used at Canadian dealerships.

As far as registration goes...
The AXZ callcenter should be able to clear this question up for you and the dealer. 1-800-348-7709

Errr....ummm.
It seems that my fathers firm represents ford and he had an x-plan pin generated for this purchase. Didn't find this out till after i had asked.
