XLT Sport vs. XLT

I would love to have the interior from the XLT sport but i don't want the painted bumpers and grill.

Would it be easier to order a Sport and exchange the bumpers and grill with someone or would it be easier to get the stardard XLT and try to find the interior parts from a salvage?

Re: XLT Sport vs. XLT

I've got to believe that it would be easier to exchange the bumpers and grill as there are a lot of interior parts to exchange(carpet, seats dash bezel, door panel inserts, console, etc.)

Re: XLT Sport vs. XLT

Just going from what I see on E-bay, chrome bumpers, grilles, etc.. are far more common than interior parts. I've been looking for XLT sport door panels for awhile now and have never run across any.

Re: XLT Sport vs. XLT

I just got a set of bumpers on ebay. I got a front and rear with all the brackets, fog lights, and reverse sensors for $430 shipped to my house. It took about an hour to get them all mounted up. A grill you should be able to pick up for less than $150. Get the Sport and swap the bumpers, it will be a lot easier. Then it will look like the 100 Anniversary edition.
