Z Plan

I ordered a F 350 CC with all the bells and whistles on 2-1-00. Today after calling my dealer and finding out I was still c/u, I went to another dealer that had one on the lot approx. 30 miles away. It didn't have everything I ordered, but three months is long enough to wait. I test drove it and fell in love. No cackle. I went into the salesman's office to sign my life away, and told them I was Z plan eligble, and wanted to go that route. The manager of the dealership refused to sell the truck to me under the Z plan. He said because he had purchased the truck from another dealership he could not sell it on the Z plan. So I am still truckless. And waiting, and waiting, and waiting....

I waited 5 months for mine. BELIEVE ME IT IS WORTH THE WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hang in there.

I'm starting to think I have a better chance of sharing a table with Bigfoot and Elvis in Mcdonald's than I do of ever getting into this truck. However, even after one short test drive its easy to see why everyone is in love with this rig. Its apparent that I will either have to cough up MSRP or wait for my order, and I'm not really happy with either option. Its starting to look like I will end up with a 2001 model, athough my dealer swears FMC is going to build out all the orders taken. Thanks for your support, but the wait still hurts...
