Hello all... I just wanted to drop in and introduce myself. Sticky is the name, I'm coming over from the F150Online community (StickyF150). Yesterday I traded in my 2009 Ford F150 Lariat for a new 2012 Ford F250 Lariat.
What an amazing difference, which I naturally expected. The ride quality is superb and the vehicle is extremely quite from inside the cab. I love it already.
I do have to admit that I am not as keen on my knowledge on diesels as I would like to be and/or as I consider myself with the little gasoline brothers.
Anything that all of you experienced PSD owners have that a new guy should know, I'm all ears. I appreciate the info whenever I can get it.
Congrats on the truck she is a beauty. This is my first ford (brought up i a chevy family and I dont think ill ever hear the end of it) I love mine so far. 2011 F250 49k miles and doing great.
Great looking truck. Love the paint. 6.7 is a great motor.

Thanks guys! I've been loving driving it! Much much different than my F150.
Gonna try and get the bed LineX'd after I order the tailgate handle delete panel and bolts. I've already got some mud flaps and WeatherTech digital floor liners on order.
The one thing the truck does not have that I wanted was the Roof Clearance Lights. I've seen the threads about doing an install, they seem pretty straight forward and its all about the measurements. From what I can tell, on the 2012's, the harness connector is behind the pull panel on the drivers side dash? Can anyone confirm that for me?
Good looking truck. I almost got one in that color. I dont know about the wiring harness on the cab lights. That was a deal breaker for me, $55 option holding up a $60k truck. Might want to call around. When I was considering just getting a truck without cab lights and adding them later I got bids for as low as $325 parts and install from dealers. Drilling holes in the roof of a brand new truck makes me cringe.

Great color combo, same as my 2011 F450. I was really surprised that Ford deleted the Golden Bronze color option for 2013.
Enjoy the new truck, they are downright incredible!

I was confused as to why the color was no longer offered in the 2013 models. I thought it was quite popular? I guess not! I love it, hence me going with a 2012 and not a 2013.
I love the truck and I am so glad that I upgraded.
Agreed, and i'm not that old. Would never go back to step-less tailgate - especially since the stock f350 lift now seems to put me on level with all the teeny-bopper's jacked-up tacomas and 1500s when i pull up to a stoplight in town.
I load a lot of hay, brush, wood etc and in and out of the back daily, and even at 6'5" I feel like the bed is too high for a stock rig. But to each his own!
To the OP... sweet truck. Love the color. Enjoy and good luck with it!
