I used the front hitch on my 2004 quite a bit. I looked around on line last night to find only a hitch that had the 2" receptacle way too low for my tastes. Has anyone got a hitch to recommend? Steve
i was gonna call them and see if it interfered with anything in the front like my 2006. i never did put one on as i did not want to lose the OEM fog lights, and i was also worried about blocking airflow to the radiator on the 6.0L. i want to put bikes up there for when we camp.

It is a little low, but I don't know where else you would put it? You can't really go higher, there's nothing there to attach it to, and the radiator/coolers are in the way and you'd be blocking the airflow to them.
There's already a factory brace that runs across the front at the height of the hitch, so you're not really losing any clearance.
Here's a couple pics of my setup.

P.S. - I love my front hitch. There's no replacement for the ultimate ability it gives you to manoever a trailer when you need it.

WAXY,
Who's grille insert is that? May I ask where you got it?
Are you satisfied with fit/finish?
Any info appreciated,
STEVE.

Check the Ranch Hand website. I have moved all kinds of stuff with this..boats, trailers, etc. It is welded into the bumper itself and I am not sure you can break it. I am not sure of the weight of the front clip, again the website would have that, but I have had them on all my Ford SD trucks. I run the roads in South TExas and often you come across hogs or deere and this evens the game a bit if you can not avoid them. ;-) 2011 Ford F350 Legend Front Bumper
