I did extensive research.I Posted here for opinions as well. I purchased Duraflaps. From first contact, to installation the folks are awesome and their product is bar none. I like that they do not wrap around your wheel well so it doesn't rub off your paint. :ford::thumbsup:
Iva always been a fan of (and used to be a dealer for) ProFlaps, and for me there made relatively locally. For a while I wasn't sure they were still in business but noticed they just completely updated there website. Personal preference by I like that they done have the "bolts" in the chrome.
x 2 - they are large enough to get the job done and installation was a snap. The only thing I changed were the bolts/washers/nuts. I used stainless hardware with locking nuts so that I would not have to worry about them loosening and falling off.
That is what I was looking for. I ended up making on with some angel iron and a old rubber bed liner and a cheap hitch from harbor freight. Now I need to find some kind of sweep for the bottom to atatch with a piece of flat iron.
If you are looking for full coverage for both your truck and your toad take a look at DuraFlap. These are drill-less installation full size mud flaps not splash guards. You will not need another mud flap to hang on your hitch with these.
