I'm sure this is a stupid question but does anyone have Cab Lights and a Sun Roof on their 2011 Super Duty? The reason I ask is mine was purchased off the lot and did not have Cab Lights but did have a sun roof. Went to a truck detailing place and the tech. said it didn't look like there was room to install the cab light. But he didn't take the roof liner down to check.

Yeah, I have both on mine. The cab lights mount pretty far forward on the cab roof, not far above the windshield, so there's adequate room for both.

They told me at the dealer that they would install them for $695. I wish I had gone ahead and installed them but I didnt. I will buy a custom pair I think.
Going to add them next week. Anyone add and have pointers?

Yes, measure 12 times and drill once . I install Recon on mine. Not too bad except for the fact of drilling 15 holes in your 60K truck. Here is a good thread on the install.. good luck
I am confused - At first I thought this thread was regarding interior lights which I thought was a requirement (DOT stuff)
Then I realized it was the roof lights which is very strange to me. I thought the marker lights on the roof were also DOT required for the weight class of the super duties.
Weird I have never seen a super duty without the exterior marker lights on the roof.
I have the sun / moon roof also and have the marker lights. Standard equipment I thought.
Miffed...

The DRW trucks require them as well as the lights below the tailgate and on the fender flares. It is due to the width of the vehicle....DOT requirements. They are simply an option on all SRW SD's

I have both. The only draw back with the sun roof is head space. The head liner is just brushing my noggin. I bought my truck off the lot, if I was to order I would not opt for a sun roof. Clearence lights are a must have.
