I have a locking fuel door on my truck because it takes care of both the fuel & the DEF. I was afraid that some tree hugger would try to sabotage my truck. I can't remember who made my fuel door & I'm not home right now to look at the packaging, but I like it. I took it to my local paint & body shop to have it painted to match the truck. The door comes in either black or brushed aluminum so if you don't mind that look, no painting is required.
My wife & I used to have a MINI Cooper & that car had the best locking fuel (gas) door I've ever seen. When the doors were locked the fuel door was locked. 'Simple as that! You would think that a $60,000+ truck would come with a locking fuel door.
