Would Like to Add OEM Backup Camera

Hello all, I just purchased a 2012 F350 XLT dually that is pretty well loaded with options except a backup camera. I would like to add the OEM model with rear view mirror monitor. Can this be done at a reasonable price and is by chance there a wiring harness already in place where all I would need to do is connect the rear camera and passenger compartment rear view monitor? Thank you for any information.

I can't answer your question, but do have one for you. Do you have the back-up sensors on your XLT. I have the back-up camera, but not the sensors, and I want to add the sensors. I've found the camera is okay, but not near as effective for backing up as the sensors were in my '08. The camera would be great for hooking up my boat trailer (just haven't done that yet), but it's worthless when backing up to my 5th wheel. The tailgate is down and all I see is driveway underneath my truck!

Anyway, just wondering.

thanks. the tailgate handle part # is 8L3Z-9943400-AC if anyone else is looking.

while looking for the correct handle part number, i stumbled across this kit and wonder if it's the better choice as i have aftermarket nav. anyone tried this?

Thanks for the information. I do not have the factory NAV so I would be interested in the rearview mirror monitor. Do you by chance have the part number for the mirror? Thank you.

Keep an eye on eBay, I picked up a new mirror for $300.00, and a new camera that is intergrated into a black billet alum license plate frame for $100.00. (I need to be able to use the camera with the gate down).
Both came with wiring harnesses that are compatible. Haven't had time to install yet though, but it looks pretty straight forward.
EDIT: Just spent the morning doing the install, was very straightforward. The hardest part was getting the stock mirror off the nub glued to the glass. Tied switched power in to the blue/white in the bundle under the dash. Works great, love it

If you are not fixed on the OEM installation, you may want to also consider the Edge CTS which you can also purchase a backup camera option for it. Not sure how the total price would compare but you also get the features of the Edge CTS with it. I don't have one but I am considering it.
