The part in the link is the top anchor, not the lower. The top anchors should already be there.

What's the part # you were given?

Thanks for the reply
I have been a little under the weather lately.
I don't have the number he gave me I might have thrown it out.
I was so pissed off with the time I wasted on the phone and then the 45 minute drive to the dealer to find out the number is no good.
I will continue to try to find out what I can do but most places including scrap yards won't deal with safety (seat belts) and catalytic converters for whatever reason.

Not sure if you guys all know, but if you pull your seat belts all the way to the end, they will ratchet back and stay at the last ratched point (for car seats). This keeps them nice and tight. I know it doesn't fix the lack of anchors (which I would also love to have), but it does keep the kiddo's safe.

11 superduty child safety anchor

Ok so what would the value be of having the top anchors if you dont have lower? Can you even use them at all? I thought it was an all our non where you used either all the anchors or you had go use the seatbelt method.

Doesn't work on the middle rear seat. Have to use one side or the other. At least on my 2011 F250 CrewCab.

This very well could be the case. I have them on each side. If anyone ever does come up with anchors, let us know, they are alot easier to use!

I find it just insane they don't have the bottom clips! I spent a hour trying to find a place that they were supposed to latch to. Guess I was assuming too much from Ford.

When my kids were young I just ran the seatbelt through the car seat, they all are designed for latch or seatbelt. Yes its hard to get your hand through there but it only takes a minute or less, after a couple years they get into boosters that use the seatbelts anyway. I had Britax car seats and even in my escape which had the latch I liked the way the carseats fit using the seatbelt anyway. For our Britax's the latch points in my escape and her explorer were spread out to far and the seat would slide side to side. I also removed the headrests (of the Fords seats) as they held the carseats away from the back. My wife and I were always passing car seats back and forth and I did loose some skin off my knuckles a few times and we were doing 2 at a time. I trust the seatbelt that ford crash tests more than some latch strap made in some forign country! Just my opinion. Ford has a building that only crash test seats to test out the seat belts and they do use carseats and baby crash test dummies I have watched them do the tests, I work at the R&E center in Dearborn.
