2011 F250 6.7L Electrical Issues

First time poseter here hoping you guys can assist me before I have to break down and go to a shop. I did a search but have not found a definiteive answer for the newer 2011-2016 series.

I have a 2011 F250 6.7. A couple days ago when my wife was driving the instrument cluster, radio, blinkers, dash display all started to blink on/off. The fan would turn onto high whenever this happened. The battery light also started turning on, off. Several of the alarms would appear on the screen and some of the fault indicator lights would turn on, along with the chimes. I have removed and cleaned the battery terminals on both battery's. I measure both while disconnected and get ~12.5v on each, and the same when connected. I then get ~14.5 while running. I have looked at all the connectors in the cab I could see, the passenger side fuse panel in the cab, and tugged on every wire I could reach in the engine. I was not able to create the problem when doing this and did not find anything loose that solved the problem.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I know it could be a ground but I have no idea where it could be, I have also read about it being a canbus issue but again can't find much details.

The truck finally started acting up when in the driveway and not just when running. While it was acting up the alternator reads 16.9vDC. Talking with an ex Ford service tech he said I should have a ton of High voltage alarm codes and the truck was shutting off the electronics as a safety. I don't have a reader to check myself and my garage is tied up so I won't know for sure until next week but almost certain the alternator is shot.

Thanks for the info

FYI:

Might want to look into a $5 app called Torque Pro and a OBDII bluetooth adapter. you can monitor the Alternator output.
