Has Ford made some changes to the KR Leather for 2013? From the looks of the pictures, it seems like they might be going back to the way it was pre-2011. It looks like you cannot get the cooled seats, which means it wont have the perforations in it.
Maybe they've finally taken the hint that the 2011-12 seats SUCK! As I've said before...I'm having major issues in the back seats with them fading and having a white haze on them.
Anyone have a 2013 KR yet?

I canceled an order I had for 2013 KR after going to the Texas State Fair and seeing one. That was my first time to see the changed leather (I own an '08). It looked the same as a '12 I looked at on the lot shortly after.
Yes, its certainly not the same as it was in the past model years.
Everyone else, please post their comments...I'm interested to see what others are finding.

Look very closely...you'll notice there's no perforation in the seats...that indicates something has changed...

The perforations do not show up very well in the pictures.
But then from a different angle:
Where did you get this picture from? I was just going off what I could see on Ford's website, and form the looks there...you cant see any peforations. But you're right...you can see them here.
Anyone have a 2013 KR that can confirm or deny this?

Confirmed- 2013 KRs have cooled seats and perforated seats as before. One at my local dealer was just delivered and I had a chance to see it on Saturday.

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to verify for you that according to the 2013 ordering guide for the King Ranch, standard equipment includes heated and cooled leather seats.
Let me know if you have any other questions!
Crystal

Well it unfortunately looks my hopes have been crushed of them going back to the older style.
Thanks for helping me out guys!

I think the reason Ford changed the King Ranch leather is to improve its durability. The original leather required quite a bit of conditioner to keep it looking good. If you've ever noticed an older KR, chances are the leather looks pretty bad. This new leather doesn't need as much attention to stay looking good.
