Angry Electrical Issues

My 2013 F-350 was parked last night with no issues, this morning it would not turn over, checked the batteries and they were dead. Removed them and have them on charger. Used Ohm meter and checked ground cables to ground, have continuity. Checked positive cable to ground cable and also have continuity. Positive cable to ground, have continuity.
Where do I go from here? Any ideas on problem?

You can't tell anything by checking continuity between the positive cable and ground, other than there will be some small resistance (continuity) thru the components that are always powered.

What you need to to is check for current draw with the batteries hooked up using an in-line ammeter.

But a common battery drain problem would be the alternator diodes going bad, causing the alternator to be connected and acting like a motor when the engine is off. You can check for that by disconnecting and isolating the large cable at the alternator when the engine is off and seeing if your batteries still discharge. If they do, then you need to do a battery drain test with an ammeter and pulling fuses to isolate the offending circuit.

You can now get a DC clamp on ammeter for a reasonable price. Much easier than installing a shunt etc. for an in line test. I just got one from Sears on line was about $60.00 including shipping. Sears.com Accuracy is +/- 3.5% reading on highest setting, better on most.
