450 mile drive, 7 hours total. Conditions were varying from dry and clear to black ice and complete white out, massive slush etc, usual for driving northern BC this time of year. Pathetic prep job by dealer it came from (did not buy there dealer trade), truck didn't even looks pdi'd so I checked it over with instruction from a buddy that is a ford mech at my dealer. We concluded was pdi'd, but explain to me the flat Fkn tire. Cost me an extra couple hours before I could get on my way.
Loved the power, the 4.30 gears rip like a mother f...! Shocked how bad mileage was right off the hammer, but I saw improvements the more I drove and varied engine load and speed less, 35" rubber will gain mpg at cruising for sure. Smooth ride, great turning radius, my touch system is wierd, will take time to figure out. All in all no regrets, a bit of a lift, rear locker, 20" wheels and 35" rubber this thing will look great, more importantly work great.

Well mpg really wasn't that bad for how I drove it, I averaged 15-16mpg crawling in the snow behind 20 rigs to 85mph on open dry sections of highway. Not too shabby.

Look tough enough even stock and when dirty. Gotta love them duallys.
What temps you running up there this time of year?
Good thing they look good dirty, my trucks are like that 90% of the year. Temps vary, we could swing between -40c/40f to 5c/41f. Right now it's been around -10/14f, fluctuates up and down. I'd rather have it cold, better for logging, roads cleaner, but harder on equipment.

Finally driving it, undercoating and rhino lining in the box done, cable lock and tonneau cover in place, beefy mud flaps, grille inserts, 235/80-17 nokian Hak LT2's with Eco studs, next few weeks air bags, locker, on board air, DVD for the kids is done. Petty nice ride. Down side speedo reads fast, stock about 4%, which means you eat up warranty faster. The tires I'm running are about 1/2" taller than stock and speedo still reads 1.5% fast.
