Real time help needed! No heater fan

Heater fans seems to have stopped functioning. Doesn't work in auto or manual mode. Temps are around 30* and passengers are freezing and letting me know about it

Anyone else had this issue? It seems to put out heat and thermostat functions but no blower output. Would be damn nice to have a voltmeter at least in this $50k POS but the headlights are bright and nav cluster seems ok

Should I look at fuses or is this likely internal electronics? Any help appreciated and I look to give local shop and Ford a piece of my mind as soon as they open this morning!

I'd start by checking the fuses. I'd call Ford in the AM too.
Good luck, and let us know what this turns out to be.

Be sure to check (or shuffle) the heater fan relay as well. If you don't have a way to check the relay, swap the heater fan relay out with another of the same type in the fuse box just to be sure it is not the relay causing the problem (and saves spending $$ on a relay if its not the problem)

These trucks use modules to control the fan speed. In fact there are two modules involved regarding the fan. On virtually all of the newer Super Duties I have repaired an inoperative blower were caused by the Blower Motor Speed Control module and one where the motor had failed. Unfortunately this is not something you can go shaking relays and smacking the dash or probing with a volt meter to fix. It does require a scan tool and knowledge of what to test and where...

If you want to kill some time while waiting for the Ford dealer to open you can check fuses #23 and #50 in the Battery Junction Box and fuse #46 in the Smart Junction Box.

This last summer while crossing the desert I had no air from the fan motor. After stopping at a Rest Stop and restarting all was working. I'm guessing it had to do something with the ignition switch. Just something to consider.
