Research before purchase question

I am looking into purchasing a late model F-250 6.7L Superduty. In checking the previous registration info online on sites like Carfax I have seen quite a few that were originally delivered to Canada (Ontario and Quebec mostly.) The sales info shows that they only spent a few months there and then came to a dealer or auction in the States. Is this anything that should be an immediate "walk away" or should I just due my normal due diligence in checking them out as I would any used vehicle I would look into purchasing?

Ontario truck owner here. Last February went shopping in Ontario for a used F250. Nothing used on the lot was worth my money to take home. Banged up and looked abused. Talked to salesman anything decent was being wholesaled and sent to USA because of the exchange rates. I ended up up trading in 2013 F150 supercrew Fx4 and recieved top dollar cdn on it against a factory ordered 2016 F250 supercrew Lariat 6.7 dsl. Dealer said drive it for a year and trade back for a 2017 and get back on trade what I paid. It is a way for the dealers to make extra on any thing used they could get in. Got to remember the US dollar is 35% more than a Canadian dollar. Instant profit for the dealers. So if it was me looking as a US citizen at a cdn truck If it looks good it likely will be. Just do normal due diligence.

This explains the "glut" of Canadian trucks I saw while shopping a couple of months ago.

I've has no real issues other than a speedo that still needs calibrating. Dealer sent the instrument cluster to a cal lab in Tacoma. Originally speedo read 60 mph, actual speed was 54-55, now it is 56-57mph. Since I use "Escort Live" on my phone, the GPS speed is displayed digitally, in large enough font that this is no longer worth beating down.

DRLs to soon be shut off via OBD II and dealer. Seat belt minder shut off last night (thanks to the tips found here)!!

We would be more open to looking at these Canadian trucks if it didn't void the warranties :-(
