Before I let the stealer have my 2011, I snapped a pic of the lifetime tripometer. I never reset the Trip B ( it won't show 10,000 miles, rolls over at 9,999)
This was roughly 12 months and 24900 miles. This is slow smooth driving, idling all day, driving hard, fast, quick, start, stop and everything between.
Tale of the tape. What's yours?
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S3 ( and you don't have one)
Must be factory set...ine says that too. I have 13+k on the truck and mine is a dually!
I love this truck

Mine is 11.6 mpg at 7500 miles (2012 F450) But that go skewed with the first 2300 miles being easy highway driving. If you were to look at it for the last 5000 miles I think it would be closer to 10.6 mpg. My 2011 actually got 1 mpg better around town then this one.

so most are 11-15 mpg lifetime average, but two are holding out at 18-20+ mpg lifetime, and I can't even get that much on a tank.
I have to know the secret. Downhill only? lol
I am down in the Florida keys. It is flat, and sea level. I dont do much towing, but when I do my mileage is in the low teens. On average comuting I am in the 22 mpg range. The computer in the truck is almost 5% off (optimistic) so the 20.1 average is true hand calculated average.... The computer shows 21.

My computer generated and hand calculated are close enough (within .5 mpg) that for overall MPG I'm just going with the B trip meter, as reset with each oil change.
1st oil change total (on factory oil) at 6230 miles = 15.1 mpg (mixed driving w/ towing)
2nd oil change (on dealer MC 15w-40 oil) at 13800 = 16.2 mpg (mixed driving w/ towing)
I Currently have 740 miles on Rotella 5w-40 = 17.6 mpg (mostly non towing)
I still feel visually the 15w-40 had better MPG results at the same speed than the 5w-40.
The little glow bar just never seems to ride as high as it did before my recent oil change. (and Nox recall, although not perfromed at the same time)

I think the big difference is how you use the truck.
If I'm on the highway and the truck has a chance to warm up I get ~21mpg. But doing short trips around my house (which is very hilly), I'm down around 11mpg.
So depending on where you spend most of your time and, if you tow a lot, your lifetime mileage would vary greatly.
I get:
Empty at 65 MPH mid 16's
Small trailer w/ ATV at 75-80 MPH 13's
13,750 boat at 65-70 mph 9MPG
Empty if I would stay under 60 I would get mid 18's to 19
so....looks like "lifetime" is 13.9? do i read that right?
I posted my mileage for a 24,900 mile trip (basically). I can get 4mpg, or I can get 38mpg but after the smoke cleared, all info was calculated, I got 15mpg over the lifetime I owned the truck.
