When are Ruby Red Superdutys coming?

I have had a Ruby Red/Adobe F250 on order since November. Was told Ruby Red was not going to be built until Feb. Anyone know of a date they will start rolling out? TIA

I noticed the other day that the ruby red color had been removed as an exterior color selection when doing the "build your own" for the Platinum models. I don't know if it was just a glitch, but I thought it might have been intentional since they haven't built any yet with that color.

Sounds good to me. I am getting anxious! I just wanted to hear they were not pushed back later. Thanks

Hey there!

I'm happy to keep an eye on your order's status for you. Just send me a PM with your order number/dealer name or VIN and I'll keep you up-to-date on your truck's build date and ETA.

Thanks!

Crystal

My F350 Lariat Ruby Red is scheduled for completion mid-Feb. I also noticed that the option disappeared from Ford's site, but you can definitely order it. Oddly the Autumn Red was still on Ford's site, but was actually a discontinued color (my original choice which got d/c'd, then I saw RR and liked that better anyway).

Anyone seen a Ruby Red yet? Pictures? Mine still does not have a build date. I am wondering what the holdup is.

Not sure jdj. I got word earlier today that mine just went into the production line, so I know they're being built now. Hopefully they pull yours soon! This whole waiting business is definitely the worst part.

Just curious how many non-Platinum Ruby Red's are being ordered? It's pretty clear what trim package Ford intended that paint for, though they do have a pic of the Lariat on their 2013 gallery now. Mine is the Lariat (or will be soon), but I get the distinct feeling the non-Platinum RR's will be a rare commodity.

I am not sure how rare they will be. Mine is Ruby Red/Adobe in Lariat. I hope it looks good. I am just unsure because there are only a few pics inside a building that are shown in brochure. I am ready for a pic or two of a real world truck outside in the sun. Or better yet a real truck!

Fair enough.

I saw an F-150 in that color when ordering mine. Had to use some imagination for the Super Duty part of that, but the color is great. The brochures aren't bad, but getting it in real sunlight is a whole lot better!
