6.2 ticking like crazy

i just got this truck and drove it home ran perfect. then today i went to town with my wife and left it running because it was out went i came back it was making this ticking noise and now i think it is getting worse.
sounds like valve rocker shot on the old 302 the truck has 61000 miles on it now... i have an appointment in two weeks at ford but is there anything i should check myself first??

Does it have enough oil in it? first thing to check.

What is your build date? Located on the VIN door sticker. Wonder if this is a 2011 Job 1 build???

Hey ya my build date is 06//2010 so is very early..... Ford fixed it on warranty... Turned out to be some bent rocker arms... Runs great now
