2003 V-10 known problems?

I am looking at a new old stock 31 foot Class C motorhome. This has a V-10 Ford powertrain in it. What know problems are there with the 03 V-10 set up? I have done a search but not finding much. How about some first hand informtion.
Thanks
Jon

Re: 2003 V-10 known problems?

Very few known issues. The only ones that come to mind (and they were more on the early ones) are the IAC valve fails periodically (easy fix) and the spark plugs may blow out if not torqued properly (mainly on the 99-01 V10s). Have had mine for 6 years now and still enjoy the power.

Re: 2003 V-10 known problems?

Regular unleaded around here is at $1.99, diesel at the same station is $2.29, same as Super Unleaded. That is why the F-450 is sitting and I am having a ball with my new Focus SVT at 31MPG.
