Just did my third fill up and she came in at 13.8 mpg! Fingers are crossed for 14-15 when broke in. AND I have to tell the guys at work since they promised me that I would not get better than 10 mpg! They happen to own Dodge and Ford diesels and are getting 15-16 mpg.

I was happy when my last tank came in at 8.5 MPG. Lots of idling (warming up) and almost exclusive driving in 4-HI on ice and snow in town. Hubs are manually locked. It can't get any worse (for mileage) than that!
One trip to Vegas which includes climbing a pass and kicking down into 3rd and the rest is my wife driving to work which is never over 45 mph. Very happy with MPG! First tank was 13.25, second was 12.3.

I'm on my third tank full of gas with the first coming in at 12.6mpg and the second at 13.2mpg. Mostly around town 45-55 with some 65 highway mileage. The first tank was with tires at 44psi, they are now at 60psi. I always use regular 87 grade gas. The above miles were empty, no towing etc.

I am considering V10 4x4 SC/SB (not sure on trans). I would be out ordering right now if I knew I would get >13mpg

Go ahead and get it. As my signature says, I've had mine since the end of October and I seem to be settling it right at 13 mpg. I was hoping for a bit more but the V10 is so much fun to drive, I can't keep my foot out of the throttle. My driving is mostly freeway, cruise, at 65-70, some around town. Mine is a 4X2 though. The 4X4 would be slightly lower mpg.
Good luck with whatever you do.
Steve

I love the V-10. My overall average is up to 14.7 MPG (that's better than my '97 Expedition got, 14.2). You can check out my Fuel usage Log at: http://ic.net/~wawii/MPG/
Yup I agree, buy it. With 3:73 gears you should get 13 mpg too. It is way fun to drive and way fun to smoke little sports cars up the pass between here and Las Vegas. You should see the looks on their faces as a 7000 lb. crew cab goes screaming past them at 75 mph and taking corners faster than them! I just got my Christmas gift yesterday: limo tint all around with a stripe on the windshield!!
