I did not have any vibration stock, but then I installed BFG A/T 295/75/16's had a little vibration then. Now with all of the modifications I have made, it runs smooth again.

The LONG story is here. The short story is my truck has a vibration that starts about 70mph & goes away around 80mph. Neither dealer nor Ford factory engineer can find the cause of the vibration. They can't (won't) try anything until they find another 2000 w/4.30 gears to see if it also vibrates.
My quest-
If you have 4.30 gears, please respond & tell me if you have any vibrations at highway speeds. If it's not too much to ask, please include a signature-type description of your truck.
Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated!
I've got the 4.30's and have never felt a vibration before or after the lift. My truck is now 6" taller than stock and rides on 35" BFG mud t/a's. Well, hold on maybe a little vibe after the lift and tires but I'm sure that's because of the tread pattern and depth of the Mud T/A. Best of luck bud.

Hey everyone!
NoMo, I went out last night and tried my 4.30 geared V10---no vibration at all except maybe a little gear rumble from the low gears but otherwise just fine. Have you checked your tire pressure? A little deviation could induce rear end vibration. Is there a chance that you have dinged your driveshaft on something? Just a thought.
Tim
NoMo,
Excuse me if you've already answered this, but did you disconnect the rear drive line and run it in Front Wheel Drive alone? Did it still vibrate? Did the dealer check the "input" shaft bearings on the rear wheel driveline (where it goes into the tranny)?
Man, I hope you get this worked out. Your story reminds me of my 1985 F250 lemon. The list of repairs on that were loooong and distinguished.

First, I'd like to thank everyone for their input. It's been a lot of help when "discussing" the issue with those at Tulsa Auto Collection(TAC) & Ford Motor Co. (FMC).
To answer a couple of questions- yes, the tire pressures are OK (even rotated & balanced) with no luck. Vibration does exist with rear driveshaft removed. The dealership has tried everything except randomly throwing parts at it.
The news!-
FMC has agreed to chip in another $1500 for a total of $3500 towards the purchase of another vehicle. TAC refused to improve their $23,000 bid for my truck. So, Friday, I bought a 2001 F350 CrewCab LWB w/V10 & 3.73 gears. I should take delivery tomorrow! Dealership is Doenges Brothers Ford in Bartlesville, OK. After being a "good" customer (this is my 3rd new truck in 18 months), it'll be a while before TAC sees me again. Whoa!
I go away for a little bit and see what happens!
Sorry to hear of the trouble and glad to hear of the new truck!
Give me a shout at work and tell me the details!
