49 State V10 3V vs 50 state V10 3V

I’ve finally found the exact truck I’ve been searching for: a low mileage 2008 F350 4x2 dually V10 6spd manual (sadly a rare bird) and it’s a 49 state truck…I'd need to register it in CA. DMV says the truck must have a minimum of 7500 miles on it to be eligible for registration as a “non resident vehicle” but it still needs to pass CA smog.– Anybody know if a 49 state V10 3V is significantly different than a 50 V10 3V as far as emissions/CA smog testing?

Sorry - just realized I posted this under the wrong year - have since reposted in the correct 2008 section. - But maybe some folks here have relevant experience w/ the V10 3v’s emissions?
