5.4 Sputtering.....

I have a 2005 F350 with the 5.4. Since the truck has had 10000 miles, every time i jump on the pedal it spits and sputters its way up to speed. This typically only happens the first time i do it until i shut the truck off again and it gets cold. I have had it to the dealer on numerous occasions and they do the same thing every time. They will drive the truck when its cold and feel the problem. Then they take it back to the shop and try there adjustments and while its still warmed up road test it again and tell me everything is fine. I have changed the fuel filter, changed the air filter, cleaned the throttle body and had the computer reflashed. Can anyone help?

sorry I can't help, but I had a 2001 Supercrew with a 5.4L and it did the same thing, it would have a terrible miss getting up to speed, sometimes really bad sometimes not at all. the were no codes stored in the computer, I eventually changed the fuel filter, cleaned the throttle body, and changed the plugs and coil packs, and the problem seemed to go away for a while but definatly did come back jsut as bad as before. I sold the truck before I ever resolved the problem, but boy did it drive me nuts trying to diagnose it.

I;m curious to find out the cause of your problem....
