Since my stroke is down for repairs, i'm driving the farms 95 f-250 with the 5.8 in it. dual tanks, front tank doesn't work so well. back one works great.
Problem: after about 5-10 min. It will start to shudder like it's running out of fuel. All i have to do is cycle the key real quick and it technically resets it and the shuddering goes away for awhile or sometime the rest of the half hour commute to work (sometimes get CE light). I'm guessin it's electrically related. Not sure, i haven't tried anything to fix the problem yet, but the trucks owner said he took it to the shop they can't read any stored codes. Haven't been able to get it in when the light is on (when you turn it off the light goes off) any help would be wonderful

I had a truck with dual tanks and had an issue with the solenoid that switched between the two tanks. I had one tank full and one tank empty and I "ran out of gas". The solenoid was not closing fully and sucking air from the empty tank.
