99 f-250

Hi All, I have been lurking in these forums for a while and figured I should get a few post's in since I am looking for a SD . I plowed my driveway with a 03 F-250 with the V10 last night, what an awesome truck. I found a 99.5 extended cab, XLT V10 for 20000.00. It is in excellent condition with 32k on the clock and has a plow. Is this a reasonable price for this truck? Did the 310 HP motors come out in 99.5 or 2000?

Thanks.

Re: 99 f-250

$20K sounds a bit steep. I'm assuming it is a 4x4. With those low miles, I'd be a little leary. Why is the mileage so low? Was it truely just a "Little Old Lady from Pasadena"? Or maybe it was in the shop all the time. Perhaps they made lots of short trips and never got it warmed up. If it was a 2001 I'd say that is a good deal. But, a 99.5, I dunno. You can probably get a brand new '02 or '03 for close to that. Good luck.

Re: 99 f-250

The truck seemed to have had a rough first 32k. I will have to continue my search, as soon as I get over this darn flu . My Houston family is looking for me as well. That would give my wife and I an excuse to visit them again . I have not found to many in my area. Thanks for the help; this site has a wealth of information.
