My brother has a 1997 F-350, going into the throttle body he has the system with two tubes going from the throttle body to the mass air sensor to the air box, he bought a K&N fiter charger kit or the air raid kit for it, and it wont fit because there kit is setup for one tube only.. and they say they have never seen on with only a two tube system, i was just wandering if any one of you guys have ran into this problem or know of some way he can make his own kit to eliminat the air box and put on a open element air filter.. Im gonna take a look at it in the am to see if we can make something up..
thanks in advance for all the help.

That's funny because a buddy of mine just picked up an F-150, I think it was a '91, and it has a K&N setup. On his there is a filter that attaches to both tubes. His is mounted near the fender. I don't believe that it is a kit, just a filter replacement. You might was to try looking for one for a '95 or a '96. Sometimes these catologs get screw when the body style changes start. In '97 there were two body styles, old universal and new F-150 and light duty F-250. They may have sent you one for the new F-150 or something, I believe that they are a single intake. Well, good luck, Chris.
