Fabtech lift kit differences between 99 & 00...FAST HELP PLEASE!!!!!!! - Diesel Forum

I have the opportunity to by a 5 1/2 inch Fabtech lift for my F250. This kit was on a 2000 F250. Here are my questions:

1. My truck was produced on 3/99 (per the sticker on the door). Will this lift kit work?

2. If not....can I make it work and how?

I believe the driveshafts were different on the early 99's and the late ones. I checked on a lift at 4 wheel parts a while back and they asked some specific questions. You may one of the places like that to see what parts or part numbers they show different and why. Have you checked Fabtech's site to see if maybe they give a parts breakdown?

Thanks for the reply. I opted to wait and buy some performance add ons before I lift it.
