Finally pulled the trigger

Just picked up a 2005 F-250 V-8. Not a great price but certainly a no-haggle deal which took all of thirty minutes and was all done by phone and computer (truck was in another city). Never saw it, never drove it until it was delivered-21st century car buying at its finest.
Actually, I really wanted to test drive the truck but since trucks have become metrosexual people movers, its almost impossible to find a 6 speed work truck anymore.
Crewcab, XL, V-8 (gas, of course), 6 speed, 3.73 rearend, aluminum wheels, 2WD. Outside of a regular cab or supercab shortbed, this is about the ultimate gas mileage set up for a Super Duty. Didn't buy it for the gas mileage (that's what the wife's 12 mpg Expedition is for!) but I will be interested to see what this truck can do.
Not that many V-8, 6 speed guys on here so I'll keep you posted on mileage, towing ability, drivetrain issues, etc.
I've been lurking here for months and decided the recently tweaked V-8 and 2005 cosmetic changes would be good enough for my purposes. Many thanks to the gas guys on this forum for all the great info-really helped with the decision.
Been driving used trucks for years so I'm thrilled
