ive got a 5.4 sittin in the yard. 175,000 miles on the plugs. if i change them out would it improve gas milage? how long do these trucks usually run for if taken care of. it burns a little oil. like 1 quard for 1000 miles. or so no leaks what so ever. id like to put a 4.6 in it. would the tranny mate up to a 4.6?
heres what i have. complete police car 96 crown vic 4.6
what i wanna do is swap the motor and trans in to the 99 f250. would it be possible and still have 4x4 or would i have to use the 5.4's tranny? i wanna keep the 4x4
the police motor has like 40,000 miles on it so does the tranny thats the reason i wanna put it in
